Conceived right here in Lynchburg VA, we opened our doors in 2014.
The Frosty Penguin is not a national franchise but locally owned and family operated. We are a mobile food service vendor for hire, offering authentic Hawaiian Shave Ice, and Hershey’s hand-dipped ice cream.
The Frosty Penguin has participated in hundreds of events from large corporate events and festivals to smaller private parties. We are proud to have employed numerous local high school and college students over the years.

Hawaiian Shave Ice
Not all shave ice is created equal. Using state of the art block shavers, we create the most authentic shave ice with amazing texture.
We offer up to 36 shave ice flavors in multiple sizes.
Hershey Ice Cream
We’re proud to offer genuine Hershey’s hand dipped ice cream in multiple flavors.
Flavor Station
For some of our high volume events, we utilize our “TOP TEN” flavor station allowing our guest to add their own flavors creating their own masterpiece.
